Overview
Under the general direction of the Surveillance Manager, this position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of video and access control equipment. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, works closely with other departments such as security and IT to ensure a coordinated response to incidents, and supports a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains the CCTV and Access Control systems; installs new systems
- Installs and maintains technical software and databases
- Trains team members on equipment use
- Prepares and follows an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Researches new products and technologies; provides recommendations
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education And Qualification Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience in CCTV
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CCTV environment
- Alarm and Security Technician Certification an asset, AutoCad knowledge an asset
- Proficient in CCTV/NTSC video signals, LAN/Networking, and computer hardware troubleshooting
- Positive and professional demeanor and a willingness to be on call on a rotational basis
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick)
Work Environment
- Secure back-office environment, fast paced with multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables, requires extended period of sitting, walking, bending and may lift up to 35 lbs.
- The role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to 24/7 operation, and will have non-traditional work hours including holidays, evening, overnight or weekend shifts.
