As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as rail yards, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Under-go ongoing training for the position

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a Manitoba valid security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
