Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized Medical Device Reprocessing certificate or re-certification required within the last 5 years.
• Completion of a Secondary School graduation diploma or recognized equivalent level of formal education.
• Ability to read and understand detailed written and verbal instructions related to equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, sort, and package all equipment and instruments used in surgical suites.
• Prepare and deliver treatment supplies and requisitioned equipment throughout the hospital.
• Assist certified health care professionals in the operation of the Surgical Services department.
