A regional health authority in Canada seeks a Surgical Care Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care while ensuring safety and quality standards. Candidates must be a registered RN with relevant experience and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role emphasizes independence and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; and
Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis; or
An equivalent combination of education and training.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.
