A regional health authority in Canada is seeking an experienced Surgical Care Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and possess a post-basic education in surgical care nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role requires sound judgment and effective communication skills, along with the ability to work in stressful situations.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
