THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a Surface Land Analyst on a 12-month contract to work collaboratively within ARC’s Surface Land team. This is a full-time contract position based in Calgary, reporting to the Supervisor, Surface Land Administration. You will assist with issuing Road Use and Third-Party Agreements and assist with day-to-day responsibilities as required. This position requires an excellent work ethic, strong multi-tasking skills, and exceptional organizational abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the issuance of Road Use Agreements and Third-Party Agreements
  • Support the granting process for Road Use Agreements and Third-Party Agreements by preparing documentation and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support related to Road Use Agreements and Third-Party Agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance to standards
  • Assist the Surface Land team with various projects

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Surface Land Administrator or Analyst in the oil & gas industry with direct experience issuing Road Use Agreements and Third-Party Agreements
  • Diploma or certificate in Surface Land Administration from a recognized program from SAIT, Mount Royal University, Olds College, etc.
  • Exceptional computer skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office, CS Explorer, geoSCOUT, and SharePoint
  • Understanding of Pandell Roads, Pandell Crossings, and AbaData is an asset
  • LEMAC membership is preferred
  • Strong relationship building and high level of enthusiasm and willingness to take initiative
  • Excellent work ethic and a collaborative approach to working in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently
