A multi-service agency in Ontario is seeking a Supported Living Service Lead to coordinate and provide direct care for children and youth. The role requires a Child and Youth Care diploma and over five years of relevant experience. Candidates must hold a valid G driver’s license and have strong communication skills, particularly in French. This full-time contract position involves working flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and aims to enhance the personal capabilities of youth. Linck Child, Youth and Family Supports (“Linck”) requires one (1) Supported Living Service Lead. This is a Contract, full-time position (70 hours per two-week pay period) beginning as soon as possible for a period of 6 months.
Hours of work will be scheduled in accordance with individual support and operational requirements. Hours of work may include afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be available to accept call-in shifts.
The Onsite Lead will provide coordination and direct care for children or youth; supporting their daily living, assisting them to achieve goals and increase personal capabilities. The Lead will also support service supervisor through the scheduling of staff, coordinating shift activities, menus, purchase of food and activity calendars in accordance with Ministry expectations of unlicensed placements.
