JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Support Service Supervisor
Reports To: Archana Gupta – Support Services Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Food, Housekeeping, and laundry departments on the Weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support and supervision of all staff in food, housekeeping, and laundry departments.
  • Ensures all elements of meals, housekeeping, and laundry are produced and delivered appropriately.
  • Follows Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation.
  • Ensure Aramark Procedures and Programs are being followed.
  • Ensure Job Routines and daily tasks are being followed and completed.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach with regard to client concerns and expectations.
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition and notifying manager if repairs are needed.
  • Covers sick time as needed.
  • Ensures security of company assets.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience working in a senior living environment required (preference will be given to those who have worked with therapeutic diets and textures previously. (CSNM not required)
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision required
  • Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be available on the Weekends (management may request additional shifts during the week if availability allows)
  • Exhibits a friendly attitude and ability to work in a faced paced working environment.
  • Must have leadership skills.
  • Must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
