A leading distributor is seeking a Supply Manager in Longueuil, Canada. This role involves leading a supply team, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments. The Supply Department of UAP’s Heavy Vehicle Division manages replenishment for 4 distribution centers as well as stores across Canada. Day after day, this team works to ensure that UAP remains the industry leader by having the right part, in the right place, at the right time.
You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a supply team while ensuring consistency in practices and alignment with strategic objectives. Your expertise in inventory management will be leveraged to optimize inventory levels throughout the network, aiming to achieve an excellent level of service while meeting financial objectives related to inventory management. You will also contribute to maximizing gains related to purchasing conditions while respecting the financial framework surrounding inventory management.
In this role, your mandate will be to work with your team and collaborate with other relevant UAP departments and our suppliers to efficiently and proactively ensure the supply of our warehouses and stores. Your communication and problem-solving skills will assist you in navigating complex or challenging situations raised by internal clients. Together with the director, you will develop effective supply strategies to ensure optimal planning and execution.
