Role Overview

The Supply Chain Tracking and Scheduling coordination Supervisor at Katch Kan is responsible for overseeing all domestic and international shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient flow of materials, parts, and finished goods. This role ensures compliance with global shipping requirements, maintains accurate inventory levels to support production planning, and delivers strong customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations;
  • Oversee all national (inside of Canada) and international (global) incoming and outgoing product shipments;
  • Supervise domestic and international production and warehouse employees;
  • Oversee multiple local and international production and warehouse locations;
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are packed, labeled, and documented in compliance with domestic and international regulations;
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, inspect for accuracy / damage, and ensure proper storage;
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s safety and quality standards of products prior to shipping;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international shipping laws, restrictions, tariffs, duties, and documentation requirements;
  • Manage inventory levels through cycle counts, reconciliations, and warehouse system updates;
  • Coordinate with production and purchasing to ensure material availability and resolve discrepancies;
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as shipping accuracy, turnaround times, and inventory accuracy;
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management (manufacturing, logistics, or oilfield services preferred);
  • Must possess excellent information technology skills like Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Must have knowledge and competence regarding Canadian domestic and international customs shipping and receiving laws and regulations;
  • Must have knowledge and competence with domestic and international packaging and shipping safety and quality standards;
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international documentation and reporting of shipping and receiving documents;
  • Must have experience in inventory control, cycle counting and warehouse management systems;
  • Must be able to work in a high paced environment;
  • Possess excellent communication and language competency;
  • Certifications (Asset) : Forklift certification, WHMIS, or other warehouse safety training;
