Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Technology Sourcing Analyst to lead procurement and negotiation activities across the technology landscape. You will analyze suppliers, set category strategies, and drive multi-year deals in coordination with Citi Businesses.

The role focuses on developing and executing sourcing programs, managing supplier relationships, and performing financial modeling to optimize total cost of ownership. Strong Excel and ERP/eProcurement proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Technology Sourcing experience.
• Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred.
• Experience in sourcing or procurement in a large, multi-national organization.

Job description

The Supply Chain/Procurement Sourcing Technology Analyst is responsible for leading Technology procurement and sourcing activities such as the negotiation of terms of price, quantity and delivery, analyzing comparable suppliers and agreeing on contracts in coordination with Citi Businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee sourcing and supply base strategy, develop standards, policies, targets, and category strategies as well as coordinate the sourcing process for the various products and services within the procurement group.
• Lead and execute on key sourcing projects including new supplier onboardings, incremental services with existing services. Conduct key sourcing and contracting activities such as competitive events, master contract reviews, schedules and statement or work review. Ensure all approvals and risk processes are completed.
• Individual contributor role but will be responsible for leveraging Central Sourcing team.
• Lead and/or participate in global category forums maintaining high level sourcing processes and team
• Develop and/or implement market analyses/benchmarking processes and leverage key insights to inform and support the category strategy development process
• Perform financial modeling and lead development and execution of negotiation strategies for high-value and complex multi-year deals
• Set strategic direction with suppliers, establish supplier qualification criteria, develop contract requirements and master agreements, model total cost of ownership, and negotiate and manage contracts
• Develop strategies for sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, productivity, and customer and supplier relationships
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of Technology Sourcing experience
• Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
• Experience in sourcing or procurement in a large, multi-national organization
• Experience in leading strategic sourcing programs
• Experience in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting
• Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFx)
• Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
