Job summary

DMC Mining Services is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a contract role based in Sudbury, Ontario. You will oversee procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless material flow and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in supply chain or warehousing, familiarity with SAP/Oracle/D365, strong data analysis, and a proactive safety mindset for an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management or warehousing.
• Proficiency with supply chain and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365, excel) and strong data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Equipment Experience (e.g. Forklift, Telehandler, loader).
• Valid Class G Driver’s License.
• High knowledge of industrial material, parts and processes.
• Strong Safety Culture.
• Experience working in an industrial setting.
• Must be a multitasker, organized, and versatile team player.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency in the flow of materials and products.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and distributing materials.
• Work closely with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and establish long-term supplier relationships.
• Develop and enforce policies for warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Carry out routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, compliance and quality.
• Work closely with production, finance and other departments to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
• Manage logistic operations and challenges.
• Develop and execute strategies to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
• Use software and tools to predict trends, plan purchases and align with market demands.
• Implement strategies for cost reduction, process optimization and risk mitigation across the supply chain.
• Maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Analyze data and generate reports to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and promote smooth operations.
• Create requisitions in Microsoft D365.
• Make Emergency pickups at various vendors across greater Sudbury.
• Unload transports and incoming deliveries as required.

Summary

DMC is currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis, based in Sudbury, Ontario . Additional Information

• We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy.
• Salary Range is expected to be between: $70,000 to 85,000 CAD (including hourly incentive bonus).
• Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan.
