Supply Chain Coordinator

CGC Inc. is a leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of gypsum wallboard products, interior finishing material and suspended acoustical ceilings. With locations around the world, CGC and USG have the resources, plants, products, and people to build walls, ceilings, and careers.

CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator for our warehouse facility based in Calgary, AB. This is a permanent, full-time position on the day shift from 5:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage warehouse shipments and related documentation, tracking spreadsheets etc.
  • Plan daily loading and unloading activities for incoming trucks
  • Look into customer service inquiries and shipping error root causes
  • Receive all incoming product in the electronic management system
  • Coordinate external services (ex. mobile equipment repair, waste pickup etc.)
  • During downtime, assist with other floor work and tasks as needed.
  • Operate a fork truck to unload vans, load trucks, and transfer boards from railcars as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications and willingness to learn new platforms
  • Personable and able to build good working relationships with customers
  • Comfortable to approach and give guidance to truck drivers and other external workers who come to the warehouse
  • A track record of great work performance, attendance, and safety behaviors.

  • Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
