Main Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order placement & administration of related activities (reception, snags, invoices, inventory, safety stock parameters, etc.);
- Validate requirements & ensure the execution of purchase order delivery;
- Analyze delivery delays & prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize impact on the production line;
- Manage short- & long-term operational plans (retrofit, shortages, etc.);
- Monitor supply chain performance (reception, warehouses, transport, shipping, etc.) & manage discrepancies;
- Ensure supplier interaction (on-site or remote visits) with cross-functional teams to implement corrective & preventive measures;
- Establish strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Compliance Management (CM), engineering, methods, quality, production, & strategic procurement;
- Manage non-conforming parts (repair, returns, etc.);
- Provide global visibility of stock levels. Obtain & track supplier action plans to maintain an optimal level;
- Define recovery plans with production teams if necessary. Understand the overall "VSM" (Value Stream Mapping) of your respective products.
Candidate Profile
As an ideal candidate:
- You hold a bachelor's degree in operations management or industrial management OR a college diploma in the same fields, with two (2) years or more of experience.
- You have good priority management & multitasking skills.
- You have a good knowledge of software such as Excel, Google Suite, etc.
- You have knowledge & experience with SAP.
- Having an APICS certification is an asset.
- You are bilingual (written and spoken French & English).
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
