Hatch's High-Pressure Metallurgy Group (HPM) seeks a SQS Coordinator to assure suppliers meet purchase order, code and jurisdictional quality requirements on complex pressure vessel projects.

The High-Pressure Metallurgy Group (HPM) is a specialized technology group within Hatch providing consulting, design and commissioning services to our mining Clients in pressure-leach or pressure-oxidation processing. HPM is a known world leader in mine and metallurgical plant design. The HPM Group are involved in projects of all sizes, from small plant improvement studies to larger feasibility studies and execution of world class EPCM projects spanning multiple years.
Equipment manufactured for our projects includes pressure vessels and piping, mechanical equipment, and structural steel. Typical materials of supply include carbon steel with various linings, including rubber and exploding cladding, stainless, and other alloys such as titanium, tantalum, and nickel.
The SQS Coordinator assumes a key role on the project team, providing assurance that suppliers responsible for the manufacture of our equipment are complying with all relevant purchase order, code, and jurisdictional quality requirements.
In addition to the above, the SQS Coordinator assumes a subject matter expert role in equipment manufacture, quality, and inspection and provides technical support to the Hatch Engineering and Procurement disciplines.
Base salary range: $89,000 - $138,000
