Job description

AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Supervisors for upcoming assignments related to labour disruptions, organized protests and man‑made crisis / disasters.

This position will require you to work 12‑hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.

Compensation
  • $25 per hour before overtime
  • Up to $5,200 bi‑weekly (based on 84‑hour work week)
  • Paid travel up to 4 hours
  • Hotel accommodation provided when required
  • $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
  • Temporary Contracts : 1‑120 days

  • Organized protests
  • Man‑made crisis / disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in the Security field
  • Former military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement experience an asset
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to projects for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work 84 hours per week: 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent organization and computer skills
  • Able to work in a high stress environment
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to deploy on short notice (as projects dictate)
  • Able to manage investigators and security personnel deployed in the field.
  • Ability to train, motivate and improve staff performance
  • Ability to professionally manage staff conflicts
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of staff
  • Clean criminal record
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle
Experience
  • Previous supervisory experience in the security field preferred
Language
  • English (required)
Licence / Certification
  • Security License (preferred)
  • Private Investigator License (preferred)
  • Class 5 or Class G Drivers License (required)
