Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Supervisor, Quality at Milton, ON to join our Quality Team. Shift Work 8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Your future team:

You will become part of the Quality team reporting to the Quality Manager. The team consists of 14-15 team members.

What you will be doing
  • Supervise day‑to‑day QC lab operations and supervise the Quality Control team, reporting to the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure analytical accuracy, product compliance and timely inspection/testing against established specifications.
  • Control nonconforming product through segregation, documentation and corrective action.
  • Maintain calibration and verification of lab equipment and accurate, traceable quality records.
  • Investigate customer complaints, support root‑cause analysis and communicate results to factory management.
  • Drive staff training, scheduling, performance reviews and adherence to health & safety practices.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma (science/engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years’ quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment; lab testing experiences an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills with experience managing staff.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement tools (e.g., 8D, A3, Lean/5S).
  • Ability to work in a plant environment and meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, temperature variations).
