A growing gold development company is seeking a Supervisor – Mobile Maintenance, Welding to oversee welding operations at the Blackwater Mine site. This role emphasizes safety leadership while supervising a team and ensuring compliance with mining regulations. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in a similar supervisory position, strong knowledge of welding techniques, and leadership skills. This is a hands-on position requiring active involvement in welding practices with a two-week on, two-week off schedule.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Mobile Maintenance, the Supervisor – Mobile Maintenance, Welding is responsible for overseeing welding operations and ensuring the structural integrity of mining equipment and infrastructure through effective welding practices. This role involves supervising a team of welders and fabricators, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with maintenance and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime. Although this is a supervisory role, it will be a very ‘hands-on’ position. The incumbent will lead from the front and will be heavily involved in practical fabrication and welding on site.
Location: Blackwater Mine Site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
