About the Role:
This position is responsible for providing knowledge, leadership, and direction to support continuous improvement of our safety culture. This includes developing and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and risk management programs that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. You’ll lead a team of professionals, provide support and guidance to managers and staff, and champion a culture of safety and compliance across all departments. From conducting risk assessments and managing audits to overseeing emergency response planning and insurance programs, your work will directly support employee well-being and contribute to operational excellence.

This position is 35 hours per weekMonday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pmwith some flexibility and/or additional hours to attend meetings or meet operational needs. This position will be required to participate in the department’s 24/7 on-call rotation (approximately one week per month).
