Carter’s Inc. is hiring a Full Time Supervisor to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet new parents and grandparents, introduce Baby essentials, and help prepare for school days, while fostering an inclusive, welcoming team culture.

You’ll lead with care, coach others, and drive omni-channel service standards on the sales floor, ensuring safety and profitability. This role requires leadership and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert of Carter’s to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results.
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs.
• Provide consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
• Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls

You can

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week
