  • Oversee recruitment, retention, training, and quality assurance of foster and adoptive resources.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate training and professional development for FCA staff and foster caregivers.
  • Review, approve, and monitor foster care and adoption documentation, home studies, and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision and ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and court requirements.

Job Information

The Supervisor, Foster Care and Adoption Services (SFCAS) is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Adoptions, Foster Care Services, and for providing clinical leadership. This position provides direct supervision to the four Foster Care and Adoption Workers in Yellowknife and will report directly to the Manager of Placement Resources, Child and Youth Services.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is from $56.99 per hour to $68.06 per hour (approximately $111,131. - $132,717.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
