Location: Whitehorse, YT – On site


Schedule: Flexible hours, 40 to 48 hours per week


Salary: $21.60 per hour


Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑time


Start Date: As soon as possible


Overview

Supervise and coordinate activities of food service staff at a fast‑food outlet or concession. Prepare and submit reports, train staff, ensure food and service quality, handle customer complaints, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.


Responsibilities


  • Establish methods to meet work schedules

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

  • Hire food service staff

  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

  • Address customer complaints or concerns

  • Prepare and submit reports


Supervision


  • Cook (general)

  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers

  • Kitchen and food service helpers

  • Manage a team of 16‑20 people


Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service or supervisory role.


Certificates: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Food Safety Certificate.


Other requirements: Valid driver\'s licence, own transportation, ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel.
