You will balance safety, operational efficiency, workforce planning, and customer service while maintaining high standards. The role emphasizes safety culture, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience within electrical utility, distribution, construction, or related infrastructure environments.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with satisfactory driving record.
• Strong knowledge of utility operations, safety practices, and workforce scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution, substation, and grid drawings/maps.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and performance management for technicians.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation and utility safety standards.
• Plan, organize, schedule, assign, and supervise employee and contractor work activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams on project planning and execution.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and vehicles are available and maintained.
• Participate in annual capital and operating budget planning.
