A leading outdoor recreational resort is seeking a Base Operations Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient operation of tramway and gondola systems. You'll supervise a team of up to 40 employees, manage internal payroll, and implement training procedures. The Base Operations Supervisor will ensure the safe and efficient operation of Grouse Mountain’s aerial tramway and gondola systems, parking lots and pay parking program. While overseeing and maintaining the cleanliness of all offices, buildings, washrooms, grounds and gardens, the Base Operations Supervisors are also responsible for recruiting, coaching and supervising a team of up to 40 front line employees.
This position provides direct supervision to the Base Operations team (Team Leads, Parking/Line Control Attendants, Snow Plow Operators, Skyride Operators, Gondola Operators and Custodians).

Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
