Job summary

Canadian Tire Financial Services is seeking a Supervisor for AJ Billes Distribution Centre in Brampton. You will lead a frontline team, ensuring safe, productive operations and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Expect coaching, data-driven decisions, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement. The role involves managing shift plans, coordinating resources across departments, and maintaining strong safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, retail distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced operation.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and operational processes.
  • Commitment to safety excellence with a demonstrated safety record.
  • Certified Designated Trainer (Train-the-Trainer certification), WHMIS/Chemical Handling certification, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) knowledge considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated resource planning and prioritization capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teams.
  • Experience reviewing and acting on performance metrics.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with WMS, labor management systems, voice technology, RF technology, automation systems, DCCS or similar operational systems considered an asset.

Job description

What you'll do:

The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to safely achieve operational, productivity, quality, and customer service objectives within a fast-paced distribution environment. As the primary communication link between frontline employees and management, the Supervisor ensures effective execution of daily operating plans, provides coaching and performance feedback, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, service, quality, and productivity. Manage workflow, staffing, labor allocation, and operational priorities. Lead daily execution of shift plans to achieve productivity, quality, and service objectives. Key holder, responsible for security of the facility, assist in areas relating to Loss prevention, Security, and Safety Controls. Play a key role in assisting with Health & Safety initiative by ensuring all members adhere to proper safety procedures and protocols. Provide regular coaching and guidance to all team members pertaining to work expectations, accountability, development, and deliverables. Utilize data and reporting tools to drive informed decisions. Conduct annual performance evaluations in accordance to demonstrated work deliverables and behaviours as well as set objectives for team members which align with business objectives Motivate and mentor coaches, designated trainers, and team members. Consistently meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others. Coordinate resources across departments to support building-wide operational goals.

What you bring:

Ability to work full-time 3:45pm-1:45am, crew 4, at AJ Billes Distribution Centre

The hourly rate starts at $29 with annual step progression.
