Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical integration expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You’ll play a vital role in developing the SCC System, which comprises subsystems such as SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), ATS (Automated Train Supervision), MS (Management System), and Data Center Infrastructure (IT Operations). Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the SCC System Team and project teams), maintain integration platforms, and develop or enhance automation tools for integration and analysis, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting software/system data and infrastructure, but also managing configuration control and performance KPIs.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Executing integration tasks per Alstom V-cycle
  • Integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting software/system data and infrastructure
  • Identifying and reporting integration issues, and managing change requests with the SCC System Team
  • Maintaining integration platforms, configuration control, and performance KPIs
  • Developing or enhancing automation tools for integration and analysis
  • Staying updated on project changes and synchronizing within the SCC Project
  • Attending team meetings and providing clear status updates
  • Actively participating as a collaborative team member, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
  • 7‑10y experience in a similar field
  • Experience integrating Railway ATS, complex, or IT systems is advantageous
  • Fluent English and effective communication/presentation skills
  • Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, documentation, and proactive work ethic
  • A proven ability to keep detailed records of troubleshooting steps and outcomes, ensuring traceability during high‑pressure situations
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team, fostering open communication and mutual support to achieve integration goals
  • Knowledge of databases (MS SQL), OPC‑UA, Windows OS (configuration, settings, and security)
  • Experience with Python, scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch), source control (GitLab), DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform), and virtualization (VMware)

Join us on a life‑long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long‑term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
