The Component Repair Supervisor is responsible for supervising all the operations of the various repair departments.

What will your day‑to‑day look like?
  • Supervise day‑to‑day repair/overhaul operations in a high‑technology industry.
  • Motivate and energize the workforce to reach an optimal level of employee engagement.
  • Responsible for main performance indicators: Health & Safety, quality, on‑time delivery, productivity, etc.
  • Help develop and manage the budget and hiring.
  • Supervise work shift changes.
  • Host and take part in meetings with other managers.
What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, business administration or engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising employees in the manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge and experience with aftermarket repair and inspection processes in the aviation industry (asset).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience in leading and developing high‑performing teams, groups, projects and/or processes.
  • Must be quality oriented and committed to providing quality services in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Lead to meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest quality of work.
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to interact with various campus 5’s groups.

Although this position is part of a French‑speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
