Job summary
Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, QC seeks a Production Supervisor for the MED Shop (Experimental Development). You will oversee daily manufacturing tasks, promote safety, and drive KPI attainment across quality, delivery, and cost.
Collaborate with engineering, programming, logistics and maintenance teams while developing staff and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a DEC or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in manufacturing, fluent French and functional
Qualifications
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising staff.
- Bilingual French (fluent) and English (functional) required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations for multiple families of aeronautical parts.
- Promote health and safety best practices and behaviors.
- Achieve KPIs (EHS, quality, delivery, cost) and take corrective actions.
- Communicate with production teams and support functions (engineering, logistics, etc.).
- Hire and train employees; develop team leads.
- Drive initiatives to reduce non-quality and improve efficiency.
- Support change management and raise employee engagement.
