Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a Superintendent – Senior Supervisor to provide field construction leadership on a major mining and construction project, overseeing activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient execution.

The role requires leading frontline supervisors, managing schedules and milestones, coordinating QA/QC, surveying, and stakeholder communications on a 15 days on/13 off rotation with 12‑hour shifts. Camp accommodations and flights are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field construction teams in mining/heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to mentor and coach supervisors and frontline personnel.
• Strong understanding of safety leadership, risk assessment, and traffic management.

• Work closely with Project Managers, Project Controls, Engineers, and other project stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a Superintendent – Senior Supervisor to provide field construction leadership on a major mining and construction project. This position will oversee construction activities, support frontline supervisors, coordinate resources and contractors, and ensure assigned scopes are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Position Details

Rotation: 15 days on / 13 days off
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Camp & Flights: Camp accommodations and flights to and from site are provided.

• Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Supervisor, or equivalent construction leadership role.
• Strong field execution and construction coordination experience.
• Experience managing or supporting frontline supervisors.
• Experience with construction scheduling, milestones, and resource planning.
• Experience with contractor management and field coordination.
• Strong understanding of safety leadership, risk assessment, and traffic management.
• Experience coordinating QA/QC and surveying activities.
• Strong communication, mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple construction scopes and priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
