Job summary

Drake International is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations across GTA commercial and institutional projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, site staff, and stakeholders to keep schedules while prioritizing safety, quality, and progress.

The role demands strong leadership and clear communication with project teams and clients. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent with a general contractor, deep knowledge of codes, scheduling, and construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial and institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, construction processes, and codes.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site staff, and stakeholders to maintain schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and performance on site.
• Work closely with project teams to manage forecasting, planning, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, contract requirements, and company standards.

Compensation: $112,200 - $155,000 + Bonus

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial and institutional construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, construction processes, and building codes.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management tools, including scheduling software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Experience with healthcare projects or self-perform work would be considered an asset.
