SunDog Tours and Transportation Jasper AB Dispatch and Logistics Assistant

SunDog Tours and Transportation, located at 28 Stan Wright Dr, Jasper, AB, is seeking a Dispatch and Logistics Assistant. The pay is from $22 an hour, and the position is available as part-time or full-time.

The successful candidate will support daily dispatch operations, assist with driver scheduling, prepare and distribute trip sheets and route information, and communicate trip details to drivers and staff. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service is an asset.

The candidate will work closely with the Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to ensure services run safely and on time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support daily dispatch operations and assist with driver scheduling
  • Prepare and distribute trip sheets and route information
  • Communicate trip details, updates, and delays to drivers and staff
  • Monitor vehicle assignments and cleanliness in coordination with operations and maintenance teams
  • Update and maintain digital dispatch records and logs
  • Track road conditions, construction, weather, and other potential disruptions
  • Provide administrative support to the reservations and operations team
