Job summary

MNP LLP is seeking a Summer Student to join our Agronomy team for 2027, with placements across Biggar/Rosetown/Plenty, Regina, and Brandon/Winnipeg regions. You will engage in field scouting, data collection, and crop tours while learning from experienced agronomists in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes independent work in a team, outdoor duties, and the chance to gain practical Precision Agronomy experience across diverse crops and regions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education. Agriculture is preferred but not required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Duties will require independent work within a team atmosphere.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor setting, along with overtime as needed during peak season.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field scouting visits regarding plant stand/establishment, herbicide timing/efficacy, insect and disease management checks.
• Performing plant stand counts & VR crop assessments.
• Performing research trial analysis and data collection.
• Participate and help organize crop tours, as well as attend industry agronomy and product tours throughout the summer.
• This person will not provide any recommendations to our customers but will work in conjunction with an experienced Agronomist to convey key information from the field in order to help them do so.

Make an impact with our Agronomy team as a Summer Student in 2027 from May 3 to August 27. Positions available in our Biggar/Rosetown/Plenty region, our Regina region and our Brandon/Winnipeg region.
