Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time post-secondary student for winter 2026.
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s licence.
• Must be physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment and shop maintenance including painting.
• Maintain yard through mowing, trimming, and digging.
• Assist operations staff with various tasks.

Summer Student - Field

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. Summer students perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to: equipment and shop maintenance, yard upkeep and supporting our Service and Maintenance Technicians.

Position Details

• Union - This is a temporary full time summer student position from May 4, 2026, to August 28, 2026.
• Multiple positions available.

Responsibilities

• Equipment and shop maintenance including:
  • painting services
  • cleaning and organizing facilities and stations
• Yard maintenance including:
  • lawn mowing
  • weed trimming
  • hand digging
  • raking
• Assisting operations staff with a variety of tasks as directed.
• General administrative duties including filing and working with spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a post-secondary student on a full-time basis for the winter 2026 semester and returning in the fall of 2026.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence.
• Physically fit.

Additional Information

• Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, may be required.
• This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).
• Students must be prepared to work outdoors.
