Job summary

MKS Financial Services Inc. located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a dynamic role. Responsibilities include assisting with paperwork related to life insurance and investments, maintaining client CRM records, and managing marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an office setting, project management skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time internship position starting ASAP with potential for continued employment.

Qualifications

Job description

The key responsibilities for this role include
Administrative Duties:
  • Assist with paperwork in the following areas: Life Insurance, Investments, and Group Insurance and Benefits
  • Assist with mutual fund processing and follow up
  • Assist with insurance application processing and follow up
  • Maintain a record of client interactions via CRM
  • Perform all general office duties such as mail, scanning, filing, supply maintenance, and computer updates
  • Manage and execute marketing activities in social media and campaigns
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Other duties as assigned
Client Services:
  • Keep the client up to date during the application process and follow up with the client as needed
  • Keep the CRM up to date with meeting notes, phone conversations, and actions taken
  • Complete beneficiary changes, policy changes, redemptions, deposits, etc.
  • Professionally respond & assist clients who inquire via phone call and/or e-mail
  • Book and/or confirm client appointments, send appointment reminders, and prepare client files for meeting
  • Engage in projects to enhance client experiences such as event planning
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience as an assistant in an office, a post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Have strong project management skills with prioritization and anticipation of needs
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Is patient and composed under pressure
  • Has strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools, Internet usage and a Contact Management System
  • Have strong knowledge of technology systems and applications, and a familiarity with social media
  • Knowledge of segregated funds/mutual funds, insurance, employee benefits would be an asset
  • Ideally have experience in Financial Services, but lack thereof can be overcome with a strong willingness to learn and develop

MKS Financial Services, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is known for helping protect the financial well‑being of families, businesses, and employees. We are looking for someone proactive and detail-oriented with great communication skills and a drive for delivering an exceptional client experience. As a member of the team, you will need to have strong relationship‑building skills, and a drive for continual improvement for yourself and client services.
