Manulife Financial is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work with our Waterloo, Ontario teams. You’ll contribute to scalable applications, gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, and collaborate with engineers and business teams.

Asa Software EngineeringIntern, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing applications and systems that support business and customer solutions. You’ll work with modern development tools and frameworks to build scalable, high-quality software while contributing to the full software development lifecycle. We offer multiple roles within this program, providing support from our diverse, passionate, and talented technology teams. You'll receive guidance from skilled technical leaders who value your teamwork and coordination abilities, and gain exposure to industry-leading, enterprise technologies.
We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Waterloo, Ontario, Canada office for a 12-month co-op/internship, running from April 29th, 2027 - April 27th, 2028. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Please note the salary range is expected to be $52,650 CAD to $70,200 CAD.
The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term.
