Mackenzie Investments is offering an Analyst Intern position in Toronto for the May–August 2027 term. You will join the Asset Management Operations Technology (AMOT) team to help deliver technology solutions for business partners.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a business or technology program and possess strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills. This role features a hybrid work model with three days in the office and paid time off during the internship.

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a summer term position, May till August 2027 in an IGM Financial office. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

The AMOT (Asset Management Operations Technology) team at IGM Financial is a highly collaborative group focused on delivering reliable, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that support asset management operations. We partner with business and technology stakeholders to modernize platforms, improve operational processes, strengthen production support, and enhance the experience of our clients, advisors, and employees.

As an Analyst Intern, you will work with the members of our team and will have an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of technology solutions for our business partners.

Responsibilities

• Gain both business and technical knowledge, that is required to compete assigned tasks and define/implement solutions that meet business requirements
• Investigate system issues to help determine the cause and solution options
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and solution requirements
• Collaborate with other technology team members to understand problems and formulate solutions
• Author system documentation to support solution development, and testing
• Author instructional documentation to improve the team’s internal processes
• Hands‑on configuration of systems may be required

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49,000 - $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
