Job summary

TD is seeking an Internship/Co-op role for Summer/Term 3 in Toronto, Ontario. You will work with sales traders to support clients, allocate trades, and conduct market research using Bloomberg and internal databases.

The role requires current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program with strong financial/analytical skills and proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and Bloomberg is a plus; collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program.
• Strong financial/analytical skills and ability to model and value.
• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork.
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Bloomberg is a plus (desks vary).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales traders to support clients and handle client requests.
• Allocate client trades to the proper accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct research and obtain market data through Bloomberg, trading systems and internal databases.
• Maintain the group’s online, client-facing web portal.
• Design and implement front-office solutions to optimize trading operations.
• Assist in marketplace modeling and ad-hoc quantitative research.
• Coordinate with middle/back office, technology, clients to resolve issues in trading ops.
