A leading financial institution in Vancouver is looking for a Student Intern for the Corporate Client Group's Real Estate team. As an Intern on the CCG (Corporate Client Group) Real Estate team, you will be responsible for helping Directors with business development and management of a portfolio of commercial real estate clients, with a primary focus on providing lending solutions for low‑rise and high‑rise residential real estate projects as well as income‑producing real estate. In this role, you will work directly with some of RBC’s most highly‑valued clients, structuring bilateral as well as large, complex syndicated facilities. You will assist with analyzing and underwriting new loan requests, including compiling financial and market information, and preparing credit submissions for RBC’s real estate risk management group for loan adjudication. Other responsibilities include maintaining your assigned portfolio in good credit health, including proactively managing credit expiries, securities, and reporting requirements.
