Fawkes & Reece Group are seeking a Sub Agent / Site Agent to join their civil engineering team on a circa £10m civils and rail project in the Woodstock area of Oxfordshire. You will support the Project Manager, ensuring delivery, health, safety, environmental & quality compliance, as well as programme and budget requirements.

You will be supported by a site team and Works Manager, with a chance to work across day and night shifts and contribute to a long-term contract on a major route upgrade.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering projects on multi-disciplinary sites.
• Ideally worked on rail sector projects.
• Hold PTS, CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.
• Degree or equivalent in a construction related discipline.
• Proven technical and site management abilities in built environment.
• Strong organisational and management skills.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and safe systems of work.

Responsabilités

• Support the Project Manager to deliver the project on time, to budget and to quality standards.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across site operations.
• Manage the site team and liaise with Works Manager to drive progress.
• Prepare Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets and implement safe systems of work.
• Monitor programme and budget and report progress and risks.
• Adapt to a mixture of day and night shifts as required by the project.

My client is a Leading, Tier 1 Construction Company.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent / Site Agent to join their Civil Engineering business working initially on a circa £10m Civils and Rail Project in the Woodstock area of Oxfordshire.

In support of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, and have responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements.

You will be closely supported by a dedicated site team and a very experienced Works Manager.

Due to the nature of this project, the successful individual will be required to work a mixture of day and night shifts with the latter attracting a sizeable rate uplift.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 9-12 months.

Requirements

• Experience of civil engineering projects
• Ideally experience of working on rail sector projects
• PTS, CSCS and SMSTS required
• A degree or equivalent in a construction related discipline
• Proven technical and site management abilities in the Built environment
• Strong organisational and management skills
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment.
