Studio Administrator/Front Desk – DB Dance Company

Location: Toronto, ON – Midtown (On-Site)
Position Type: Up to 12-month Contract (with possibility to extend), Part-Time (20hrs/per week)
Schedule: 5hr shift, 4 days per week (Mon – Thurs). Includes afternoons & evenings.

Compensation: $25.00 (hourly). Performance-based wage increases and growth opportunities.

About DB Dance Company
DB Dance Company (DBDC) is a competitive dance studio located in Midtown Toronto. The studio offers performance-focused training and mentorship for dancers aged 6 and up.

Job Position Summary
Reporting to the Studio Manager, the Studio Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of both DB Dance Company locations. This role ensures a warm, welcoming and professional environment for students, families and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
Lead front-line customer service, ensuring high standards of care and timely communication to support efficient program delivery.
Assist with registration, scheduling, event coordination, social media content creation and other administrative tasks as required.
Oversee facility upkeep, ensuring studios are accessible and functional.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in customer service and/or event coordination.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking abilities and comfort working in fast-paced settings.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and studio management systems (e.g., Jackrabbit, Mindbody).
Enjoys working with children and engaging with families
Previous dance training or experience is preferred.
