Student Teaching Assistant for ECSF 110-060

Position Summary

Duties may include: preparation for classes, preparation of written and audiovisual materials, teaching, leading discussions, preparing and grading exams and papers, consulting with students, conducting field trips, travel (exclusive of normal travel to and from the primary work site), and conferring with the instructor as required.

Position Requirements
  • Course is delivered in French – applicant must speak French.
  • Applicant must have K‑12 teaching experience.
  • Face‑to‑face class but attendance not required.
  • Experience with UR Courses Moodle platform is an asset.
  • Hold Guaranteed Minimum Funding (GMF).
  • Be a student in the PhD Education program.

Pay Grade & Salary Range

As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement.

Work Hours
  • Maximum of 120 hours of work for the term.
  • Class meeting times: approximately 39 hours (Tuesday/Thursday 8:30‑9:45 am).
  • Remaining hours: approximately 80, negotiated with the supervising instructor.
Course Modality & Dates

In‑Person Delivery: Tuesday/Thursday 8:30‑9:45 am, January 6 – April 29 2025 (term).
