Job summary

Qualifications

• Courses related to working with students with special needs would also be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks in classroom and during school activities.
• Provide student supervision and assist with personal, physical, and medical care.
• Support programming for students and assist with implementation of developmental and behavioural strategies.
• Work under direction of teacher with interdisciplinary team planning; assist children with diverse needs.
