Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We will help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging fun and supportive work environment.
Projects are scoped in alignment with your term length and typically focus on a current construction project.
We are seeking a student to join us for a 4-8 month co-op position starting in January 2026 . This position will be based out of Ottawa ON .
Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Engineering Architectural or Construction Management Program.
Will complete at least one more semester of education following the internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Strong ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving project goals.
Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting.
Eligibility to work in Canada including residency or a valid work permit allowing employment with Bird Construction or its subsidiaries.
If selected for a client-specific project the candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment Medical and / or Alcohol & Drug test.
