Douglas College’s New Westminster Campus seeks a part-time Student Assistant/Student Research Assistant in the Anthropology Department to support archaeological fieldwork and lab work.
You will sort and analyze artifacts, enter lab data, prepare samples for analysis, research sites, and compile oral histories, with up to 20 hours per week.

Assisting with archaeological research resulting from fieldwork conducted in Líĺwat Territory.
Under the direct supervision of the supervisor, SRA will perform the following:
Students must have completed Introduction to Archaeology (ANTH 1112); other courses in Archaeology or Anthropology will also be helpful.
An original copy of a Social Insurance Number (SIN) and an original Study Permit are required by law before commencing work at Douglas College.
Qualified Douglas College students meeting the above criteria will be given first preference over students of other qualifying institutions.
