Job summary

Cameco Corporation in Saskatoon is seeking a university student for a 16-month full-time temporary engineering term. You will work with the technical services and strategic projects group to provide process engineering and metallurgy support, analyzing data, developing dashboards, and assisting with capital projects.

The role involves some travel to site and potential remote work with on-site meetings as needed during the term.

Qualifications

• You will be entering your 3rd or 4th year as a university student in chemical, process, or metallurgical engineering or related field.
• Occasional travel to site as projects require.
• You must be returning to school after this work term with Cameco.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AVEVA PI data system to analyze process data and support development of applications, dashboards, and tools.
• Perform process data analysis to support troubleshooting, process optimization, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support capital project development by performing data analysis, design calculations, and other process engineering deliverables.
• Support process sampling campaigns and on-site process optimization test work at northern Saskatchewan sites.
• Assist with other process engineering and metallurgy initiatives within technical services and site operations.
