Job summary

A global shipping company in Metro Vancouver is seeking a C&B and Salary Control Student to analyze salary data and collaborate with international teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and at least 1.5 years remaining in their studies in economics. Student Position: C&B and Salary Control Student

We're looking for a C&B and Salary Control Student that will handle the following:

Salary Control & Ongoing C&B support

Monthly salary Controls:

  • Analyzing Global salary reports for all ZIM countries – reviewing and analyzing the gaps of approved payments vs. actual payments
  • Reviewing the data by person level – understanding and explaining the reasons of relevant gaps.
  • Collaborating and meeting with stakeholders in different countries to share insights and results.
  • Find red flags and trends in salary data
  • Prepare a monthly summary with all findings.

Support per need with ongoing C&B Projects:

  • HR Head count and salary Budget
  • Building and collecting global payroll and benefits database and internal guidelines
  • Compensation and benefits analytics – Salary benchmark, Control of monthly salary expenses vs. salary budget, Bonus modeling, etc.
Requirements
  • Academy Education - Student of economics
  • Study Balance - at least 1.5 years remaining
  • Excellent control of office tools, Excel in particular
  • High control of English language (Speaking, reading and writing)
