Qualifications

• Successful completion of Year 2 or equivalent of a BC College of Nurses and Midwives program and ongoing enrollment.
• Current student membership with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Successful completion of Med Surg placement for ESN or Mental Health placement for ESPN; equivalency to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Assess, record and report health status of patients, residents or clients.
• Collaborate with nursing team and family to develop and modify care plans.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as prescribed.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement plans and data collection.
