Job summary

MDA Space is seeking a Student Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) role for an 8-month assignment from January 2027 to support enterprise initiatives. The incumbent will join the Corporate Business Transformation function within the Office of the Chief People, Culture and Transformation Officer to analyze environmental data and report findings.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a co-op program, has strong Excel skills, and can communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Description

MDA Space is looking to fill a Student Environmental, Social & Governance role for 8 months from January 2027 to support a critical enterprise initiative in the area of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). This role will support MDA Space’s Corporate Business Transformation function within the office of the Chief People, Culture and Transformation Officer. The ideal candidate will work with a team to investigate, analyze and report on various environmental impacts across the business.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

• Meeting with business stakeholders to gather input data
• Manipulating large data sets in Microsoft Excel
• Executing manual and automated data entry activities in SaaS business tools
• Preparing and delivering regular reports on progress
