Student Employee - Recruitment & Events (Salmon Arm)

The Student Assistant – Recruitment and Events will assist the Recruitment department and the Regional Dean’s Offices with event set‑up; provide general tours; greet attendees, provide assistance at check‑in if required, and other assistance as needed.

  • Campus Information Nights
  • Information booths for current students
  • Local career fairs and all other campus recruitment and events
  • Providing campus tours
  • Orientation, student appreciation and student life events
  • Providing other assistance as needed

Functions and Duties

  • Assist the supervisor with campus information nights
  • Assist with information booths for current students
  • Participate in local career fairs and campus recruitment events
  • Provide campus tours
  • Support orientation and student life events
  • Offer additional assistance as required

Education and Experience

  • Enrolled in a post‑secondary program at Okanagan College
  • Prior work experience is an asset

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications
  • Works effectively independently and as part of a team with an aptitude for a collegial and collaborative environment
