Douglas College is seeking a Student Assistant for Document Design to support peers in CMNS 3400. You will tutor fellow students with InDesign and Photoshop, provide feedback on digital and print projects, and help maintain strong learning environments on campus.
The role requires completing CMNS 3400 or proven equivalent, plus empathy and patient collaboration with diverse groups. Position up to 20 hours/week at the New Westminster campus.

The Student Assistant, Document Design will help students with learning design and graphic software utilized in the Document Design course ( CMNS 3400), by providing peer tutoring. The software includes InDesign and Photoshop. The Student Assistant will also be expected to provide informal feedback on both digital and print student projects.
An original copy of a Social Insurance Number ( SIN ) and an original Study Permit are required by law before commencing work at Douglas College.
Qualified Douglas College students meeting the above criteria will be given first preference over students of other qualifying institutions.
